In honor of Grandpa Davis—and all the grandparents and older loved ones whose patience, stories, traditions, and love continue growing in us—First Year Storybooks is giving one family a Memory Garden gift set.

The winner will receive I Am Growing: A Memory Garden Story and its companion Memory Garden Journal.

    1. Sponsor

    The Grandparents Day Memory Garden Giveaway is sponsored by First Year Storybooks.

    1. Eligibility

    Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington, D.C., who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, representatives, and members of the Sponsor’s immediate household are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

    1. Giveaway Period

    The giveaway begins Sunday, September 13, 2026, and ends Monday, September 21, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (Arizona time). Entries received after the closing time will not be eligible.

    1. How to Enter

    Complete and submit the official entry form on the First Year Storybooks website during the giveaway period. Entrants must provide their name, email address, initials, one grandparent or older-loved-one memory, sharing-permission preference, and confirmation of eligibility.

    Limit one entry per person. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve the chances of winning.

    1. Prize

    One winner will receive:

    • One copy of I Am Growing: A Memory Garden Story, retail value $26.99
    • One I Am Growing Memory Garden Journal, retail value $22.99

    The total approximate retail value of the prize is $49.98. Standard shipping to one United States address will be paid by the Sponsor.

    The prize cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. The Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable. Any applicable taxes are the winner’s responsibility.

    1. Winner Selection and Notification

    One potential winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries. The drawing will take place on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

    The potential winner will be contacted using the email address provided on the entry form. The potential winner must respond within 48 hours. If the potential winner does not respond, is ineligible, or cannot accept the prize, an alternate winner may be selected.

    The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

    1. Submitted Memory

    Choosing whether First Year Storybooks may publicly share an submitted memory will not affect an entrant’s eligibility or chances of winning.

    If an entrant selects “Yes,” the entrant gives First Year Storybooks permission to share the submitted memory on its website, social-media accounts, email communications, or related promotional materials using only the initials supplied by the entrant. The memory may be lightly edited for spelling, length, or clarity without changing its meaning.

    If an entrant selects “No,” the memory will remain private and will only be used to administer and verify the giveaway entry.

    Entrants confirm that they have the right to submit the memory and that it does not violate another person’s rights.

    1. Email and Privacy

    Email addresses will be used to administer the giveaway and contact the potential winner. Entrants will receive future First Year Storybooks emails only if they separately select the optional email-signup checkbox. Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

    Information collected through the entry form will be handled according to the First Year Storybooks Privacy Policy.

    The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete, duplicated, fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with these Official Giveaway Rules. The Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway if fraud, technical problems, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control prevent the giveaway from operating fairly.

    By entering, participants agree to abide by these Official Giveaway Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions, which are final regarding this giveaway.
